ROM Hack Shadows of Valentia DLC not working with CIAngel or FreeShop?

I tried downloading the dlc with CIAngel and it gave me the error "Could not install the CIA." In freeshop, it shows only the "delete DLC" button, which is odd because I possess none. What do I do?

Just use tikshop to download the tickets then download it off the eshop for free

Update: I think I found the site you mentioned, but it seems to be giving me a similar problem to CIAngel where it suspends instead of completing.
I'll try tikshop and see if that works as well.

I can't give it here. It's not allowed. I assume you had the previous web site in your FreeShop settings? Just change the ".com" to ".gq", then restart freeshop.

He should also remove the "s" in https. That's how it worked for me.

Hehe, this part infuriated me so much. It took me half an hour to think about removing the "s". I was so pissed.

i just googled it and found it, at any rate. As I said though, instead of completing it, it suspends at the end, and doesn't install it just like how CIAngel says "Could not install the CIA"

I see a few threads on reddit about this. First, did you try running tiksweep (FBI->TitleDB->tiksweep) and then relaunching FreeShop and trying? Do you have any DLC installed for Fire Emblem already? If so, you need to delete it first. If none of this works, reddit recommends to go to that iso site and download the DLC CIA. Delete all DLC associated with the game and then install that one.

Also, you have USA version, right? Just double checking. Reddit claims EUR version no workie with DLC.

You can delete DLC in the 3DS settings or FBI. Try the DLC CIA from that iso site. It was the final solution (no Nazi references to see here!!!).

So yeah, it won't work with FreeShop because not all of the DLC is released yet. After June, when all of the DLC is released, you will be able to grab it from FreeShop. Until then, you have to grab the DLC CIA from that iso site. Same with Master Blaster Zero. I hope this helps!

Just get the DLC off FreeShop, and because the app unlocked all the tickets, even after it fails, just go into the game, go to the section that has you manage your DLC, and you can download the DLC within the game individually. That simple. Can be done from the Extras menu on the title screen, or in the world map menu > Connect.

Yes, from experience. The idea is to attempt the download of the DLC in FreeShop. Until it says suspended. When that happens, ignore the error, and close the store, do not cancel it. Then, open the store again and check that the DLC is "installed". You will know that when the button is shown to be one for deleting it. With that done, just go back to the game and do what I said earlier.
