Gaming Scribblenauts Hype and News Thread

I dont believe it. No, really. Best game of E3, GameSpot,IGN etc. actually played it, and some of them played it A LOT and said it's awesome.
So I still think Scribblenauts is awesome. Waiting for GameSpot,IGN,NinPower etc. review. G4? Who is that?
They didn't say ANYTHING USEFULL in this review, just "hm.. controls are bad. I dont like this game. Fuck it, lets play Ninja Turtles!"

I can't believe that the demo hasn't managed to leak. Then again, I have to assume that the developers do NOT want this thing going home with anyone who may dump it. I just hope an early dump shows up soon. Can I wait? sure. Do i want to?

Apparently, the demo was leaked (with proof that it was real), but it was reported and taken down within a few hours.
BTW, Reviews on the Run usually gives incorrect scores. They gave a Wii game an -3 (that's right, a negative 3). And their 'review' copy wasn't a retail version. It was a demo/beta.

No, I'm sure they didn't change too much. Since sending out the months old demo copies, they probably tightened things up a little and added more words and interactions. That guy with Gob as his avatar said he played it not too long ago at PAX and the controls were fine. I'm not really worried either way, but I know what a 7.5 review can do to a super hyped game's reputation.

Yeah the controls didn't really bother me. When I first heard that it was stylus only, I was a little letdown, but now that I've been able to try it out, I can personally vouch that it works great as a puzzle game. Those of you who were looking for a puzzle/hardcore sidescroller should look elsewhere.

Telling you just for the sake of it, cuz many people can't hold it for just a week, or less. And let me repeat myself- I have no idea if there is something wrong with this rom.

I agree! This game is extremely overhyped.
Based on what I've seen and heard....
The controls are HORRID.

Plus, I don't think you can use objects like you want too..
It looks cool, but I can't help the feeling that it's not going to be up to all of this hype and
eagerness..
Hype gets me every time. But who can we blame for overhyping this one?

After reading that review, my previously ridiculous level of excitement for this game has escalated into the 4th dimension, and my brain is now being ravaged by omniscient quasidimensional monkeys, frothing at their tiny mouths in anticipation for the impending Scribblenauts. Thanks!

from what i heard, it's not a virus, it's just another game. I believe one of the scribblenauts files there was a cory in the house game, can't remember what the other files where suppose to be, all i can remember is that they are other games.

No way.

10/10 doesn't mean that much these days, Halo 3 got a 9.5 on IGN ffs, and I see this game being much better than Halo 3 (because shit sucked).
