Admitting that the graphics are not the best looking for OOT as we have see how good other 3DS games are looking, but being much better than the N64 guess we can't complain. Looking forward to this game.
They had to remain true to the game's original graphics. It wouldn't be OoT if it had more realistic graphics, like in SSBB, TP, or for a much better comparison, MGS and RE.heartgold said:Admitting that the graphics are not the best looking for OOT as we have see how good other 3DS games are looking, but being much better than the N64 guess we can't complain. Except for the fact that it doesn't appeal to those who never played the original OoT (like myself). I don't think Nintendo would sacrifice new players for old ones. Take New Super Mario Bros DS for example. Some (all?) of the level designs were the same, but with better graphics, and people appreciated the game for what it was: a re-draw of an old game on a new console. And that's exactly what I want/expect out of OoT.ron975 said:They had to remain true to the game's original graphics. The graphics had to look like OoT on the N64. Nintendo could do better graphics like in Kid Icarus, but it wouldn't have the same feeling as playing it on the N64, it would feel like a new game with the same plot, it just wouldn't give you that kick of nostalgia that Nintendo is trying to aim for.

And those levels were just as effective in inducing nostalgia as would be a 3D-ified OoT but without sacrificing newer, younger players.

It is, shame about those jaggies.ryan90 said:How come no one is mentioning how beautiful Pilotwings is?
To me the screens look stunning
Yeah, I was really hoping that this would be fixed. Oh well, I can't imagine it will take away from the game too much.DeadLocked said:It is, shame about those jaggies.ryan90 said:How come no one is mentioning how beautiful Pilotwings is?

You've gotta remember the game isn't in action so your gonna see the jaggies, I'm positive the jaggies are gonna be barely visible when the games in motion.DeadLocked said:It is, shame about those jaggies.ryan90 said:How come no one is mentioning how beautiful Pilotwings is?

The jaggies aren't bad in this game at all, hate to break it to you but i can bet every 3d game on 3ds will have jaggies in places. The hardware doesn't really support any usable AA methods so i doubt that can be fixed unless the go the nintendogs route and add fur shading to everything lol_Chaz_ said:Yeah, I was really hoping that this would be fixed. This matters little.ryan90 said:The jaggies aren't bad in this game at all, hate to break it to you but i can bet every 3d game on 3ds will have jaggies in places.
