This product was maybe a little overhyped, I mean you had months of anxious waiting, but still, I think you will be fine for value.
I'm not sure if you know this, but Supercard products have held their worth, rather, their longevity is extraordinarily long. I think the prime example of this is the Supercard DS ONE, if you bought the Supercard DS ONE when it was released, it was one of the first slot 1 carts that had automatic patching (a la R4), it had a nice menu (a huge jump from slot 2 cartridges), etc. It was top of the line, side by side with the R4. Moving along, the R4 jumped ship, the EZ Flash V sort of clung on, but a new challenger appears, the CycloDS Evolution. It claimed to eventually release RTS and RTG functions. Supercard team beats them by releasing it first. Moving on, as the firmware slowly got bogged down, BAM, EOS shows up. The Supercard DS ONE may not have been the best cart overall, but it has stood in the way of competition and stayed as a good alternative for the entirety of its life. Sure the Supercard DS ONE was released in several variations, but if you still have the original Supercard DS ONE, you still enjoy all the benefits. How many people can say that about their investments in the DSX or the R4, etc. I can say the same about their slot 2 carts, updates appear even now, I mean they even added auto DLDI on a slot 2.
So what does this mean? Well I'm thinking that being an early adopter of the Supercard DS TWO isn't a bad thing at all. Even if it is a little overhyped, I think the brand itself is worth it. I'm assuming you got it at the $30 price-tag too. You can't even get an iPlayer at that price, so if the Supercard DS TWO runs movies, you got your money's worth already. GBA emulation and SNES emulation is gravy on the side imo.
