Hi everyone!

I'm running an R4 (v1.11 firmware) since Xmas and up until today had
no problems at all.

But today, i saved Zelda- phantom hourglass and when i turned my DS back
on, even though my sav file is still on my micro sd and seems fine, and the game loads up fine still, it now takes me back to the beginning of the game!

I've been told that my Zelda sav file should be 2 mb, but it's only
512k when i explore my micro card on my pc, as are all the other sav
files for my other games (mario kart, simpsons, drawn to life,
thrillville, etc...)

Is 512k the standard sav file size, and any ideas on what happened to
my Zelda sav file? Has this happened to anyone else?

thanks heaps, happy new year!

I have never had this problem, but the zelda save size is 4 mb(4 mbits), which is 512 KB. 512 KB is the standard size for the saves. Please note that zelda doesnt save in your exact location. For example, if you save in a house, you will start back on the island in the starting location.

if using the latest firmware doesn't help, then you probably have a bad dump and should get the rom from another site.

That sucks. I used the Wifi backup tool to take the Save from an original Zelda PH cart, converted the save using the r4 conversion tool, then just named it the same as a rom I obtained elsewhere and it worked fine.
