I have restored my clean nand backup with ofw 4.1.0. I have updated to 8.1.0 without burning fuses (using the jig trick correctly when system goes to restart and enabling AutoRCM). Booted into ofw from hekate and linked my Nintendo account.

Next I've created emummc using the guide from github.

Need some clarity on the following aspects:

1. Will using the sysnand on OFW with legit games and fuse count at 5 trigger a ban?

2. Is there any advantage of keeping my sysnand at low fuse count for future exploits?

3. Can my emummc be downgraded if required?

4. While booting into sysnand from hekate I get the hekate boot logo followed by sept boot logo and then Nintendo logo and finally the Nintendo switch logo. The system version does not have AMS string in it. Is this a safe/clean sysnand for legit online gaming?

5. Can I setup kosmos fork instead of vanilla atmosphere on the emummc? If so anything specific to be noted?

6. How to reboot into hekate without having to inject payload everytime?

Thanks for reading in patience and helping me solve these queries.

3. I haven't tried it but I think you should be able to downgrade with ChoidujourNX on emummc.
6. You can boot into Hekate with the power button in Atmosphere. Just choose 'reboot' when the menu comes up and it will reboot to Hekate. Also, if you are running Kosmos you can go to the homebrew menu and open 'Kosmos Tools' and reboot to Hekate from there.

The restart option doesnt take me to hekate screen. In kosmos this used to work. Is there any setting that I need to modify?

I didn't have to do anything special to make it work. I'm running Kosmos 13.2. You might have to modify your atmosphere config file. I'm not sure how to do that.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
