Rumor:Medal Of Honor Warfighter Coming To The Wii U

Austrian newspaper Der Standard is reporting that the recently announced Medal of Honor Warfighter will be coming to Wii U. The publication states that the game is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC on October 23rd. EA has previously expressed interest in developing games for the Wii U.

Yeah, that actually is a bummer. I remember seeing the first trailers for this game and thinking the exact same thing.

Modern war is not as interesting as conflicts from 1960 and below

in modern war you can kill your enemy in a instant in most cases and if they don't have nuke your get involve in long gorilla wars in city

I'm confused. You expect EA of all people to pump out AAA exclusive Wii U titles?

In any case, these multiplats definitely will favor the Wii U in terms of visuals. The Wii U's graphics hardware is literal years ahead of the last gen competitors, and the SDK is easy to work with. It won't be getting all 360 ports like the PS3 did. At the very least the Wii U version will have some extra AA and a higher resolution slapped together.

Maybe, but I personally am tired of playing WW2 games. Modern war may not be interesting to you, or to most people for that matter. But it is more interesting to me than WW2 games

Also considering the amount of PS3s and 360s around already, making a "basic game" exclusive for the WiiU would be just plain stupid for all other publishers except Nintendo. Unless Nintendo racks up the cash for the publisher/developer, I don't see the point. It'd just lose money since people won't go buying the WiiU with force, at least now because of the economical situation (most parents don't have extra cash to rack in, especially if there already is a console in the house).

this is all just speculation, $50 on they will just be 360 ports

I don't know why people expect 3rd-party-developers to develop titles exclusively for WiiU when they didn't even care to defirentiate between PS3 and 360.

Let's take NFS as an example: Since the Wii is not as powerful as the other two EA always have to make a specific version of games for Wii. But if they can have the same performance gameplaywise on all plattforms why should they care to defirentiate between the systems. 3rd parties haven't done that in the GC/PS2/XBox-era or in the ongoing PS3/360-era.... And imo to do that wouldn't make sense.

The game looks good but somehow I kinda like shooters like Halo more because of all the fancy weapons. I might try Syndicate, since I heard the mltiplayer is said to be really good. I will pass on this one I guess...

Yeah but the new one was crap and this looks like a sequel to that. It got rather mediocre reviews but still pushed over a million copies.
