Not sure if you're into it, but the mysterious dungeon series are pretty fun. They could count as a little turn-based though, except it isn't as simple as merely battling. The series includes games like Shiren, Izuna, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

Well, I can't argue with 4 being worse than 5, but still, it will forever remain my favorite of all time because me and my friends always had fierce multiplayer battles with that one

LIBERATION MISSION Suck. Although the tournament thing in 4 was lame. MMBN > Star Force. The only thing that came out of is the wi-fi...and even THATs not that good.

Dungeon Explorer has online multiplayer, I think. It's not that great, but it's pretty much your only option for that...
