I am trying to rip character voices from a Wii game. The particular game I'm attempting to do this on is Mario Party 8. The voice I want is the Hammer Bro "H-woll" (hello).
After doing some reading I I found it is possible to get sounds out of Wii Games. (http://gbatemp.net/t100586- is one of the pages I found explaining how to do it.) I was able to open the .iso in "trucha signer 0.21" locate and extract everything in the sounds folder. I played every sound and I couldn't find any character voices just music.
Has anyone ever tried this before is it even possible? If so what files am I looking for?
UPDATE: Well I found some files with the characters names on them. in ROOT > Data but they are all .bin files. Is there a way to extract stuff from a wii's .bin files?
