Hi, for the past 71 days (8 weeks) I have been trying to extract the .wii and .ds files of coraline. It uses the same format and magic header (vaps) as other d3publishers movie games and the magic headers match. Here is a post about these files from an archive of xentax (RIP). https://web.archive.org/web/20231013064556/https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?t=15595
Maybe reverse engineer the format using CyberChef or how the data was created. QuickBMS is quite a useful tool for extracting stuff like this.

I have been trying to research the format and header but havent found anything useful yet. I have tried the bms scripts that were posted on the xentax archive, and also looking at the files with notpad++ to see if there is any useful pointers. What ive found so far is that the bgm and vo folders in each of the folders can be renamed to .fsb and opened with foobar2000. There is also a script I have found for the _m and _s .wii files for ps2, but it is trash. Basically what I have mostly been to do is research.

Another thing I should mention is there is an $80 tool to extract game files and it somewhat supports coraline (models) although it cant export textures and the model is 1 full thing. And on top of that it exports in a propriatary (for the tool) file .cdat and the software used to open it has stability issues. I have got in touch with these developers and they have agreed to give a new tool that has full support for coraline, but it has not released yet. The tool: https://www.alprogramming.com/product-page/unarch-tool-unrivaled-edition
