Team ICE seems to have found an exploit in Resistance Fall of Man that will run unsigned code on a retail (not debug) PS3 with firmware 2.10 (latest). It's still not 100% complete but this basically means the PS3 is closer than ever to being hacked.

More info and video can be found here.

Homebrew should be kickass on this beast.

Yeah, like 5 months ago when everyone was like "OMG PS3 GOT HAXXOR'D" when they only changed WarBirds's demo ICON.

Yay! [IMG] One step closer to pirated game!

Speaking of unsigned code, whatever happened to the team that hacked the Wii a few weeks back, we haven't heard from them lately.

I think you guys should go watch that video if you haven't. Really, REALLY fake looking. (OMGZ THE HDMI IS GONES! MUST BE HAX (Or someone pulled out their HDMI cable)) OMGS A BLACK SCREEN ON AN EDITED VIDEO! MUST BE UNSIGNED CODE! (Or a black screen.)

Who the hell makes these videos? You know a good proof, they could use a steady camera with focus on the entire console + TV. Also, this video shows nothing, it says it ran unsign code, but there's no code being displayed. Until a simple display of "Hello World" with actual video footage that is not cropped to just the TV is shown, there's no real proof. Also, what half-ass team releases a so call exploit with without a simple "Hello World," it doesn't even have to be fancy...ASCII text "Hello World" will do just fine.
