hey retro, just in case you want to add this tidbit, a program called "Defraggler" can defragment individual files, very useful for roms giving -81.

Whenever I boot a game it is stuck on Creating ttmenu.sys. Any help?
This happens on slow MicroSD cards. its very unfortunate. it will take like 15 minutes to create TTMenu.sys and another 5 to create a .sav file. it sucks, i switched back to my 4GB card instead of my 8 because of it.

NEVER EVER defrag any flash based device (microsd cards) because they bring down the life time of the device by ALOT.

Question, why?
What is the difference betweer write on it than defrag it?
Panasonic SD formatter is an official tool

Well as far as I know the flash memory dies after a certain number of writings (either 10,000 or 100,000) on it so when you write on your card you decrease its life by a small bit every time. When writing a file normally you just write the file once but while defraging you write it many times in different parts of the card during the process decreasing its life way more than normal check here for more detailed explantion http://ask-leo.com/should_i_defragment_my_...lash_drive.html its about flash drives but it applies to anything with a flash memory.

Hello!

Maybe you do not know me, I'm active in the M3 topic. Maybe you also do not know I was the first one who ported Retro's dat files to the M3 and I shared the tools with Retro to make his own port version.
You know the soft reset was broken on the original ysm3. I just want to write here for the M3 users. If they want to use soft reset use my version:
http://filetrip.net/f23221-YSM3-with-Retro...iles-6-42d.html

You can also found the tools to port Retro's dat file on your M3 card.

Thanks the dat files for Retro!

Cheers!

1770/Tales of Innocence patched with the Absolute Zero translation patch doesn't work. It refuses to progress beyond the intro movie or, more specifically, that intro movie doesn't load. Worked before, but on 1.17a12 it refuses to work.

I have no idea how to unearth the CRC code.

Hey there.

First off, thank you SO much to Retro for making these fixes. I spent HOURS trawling the net wondering why certain games wouldn't load at all, Finally stumbled on this little gem

Im just wondering, is it possible to make the DS autoboot to the old DSTT Menu rather than the YSMENU?

Thanks once again, keep up the good work

M3 users:
softreset works if you renames m3reset.dat to ttreset.dat in TTMenu folder.
then renames YSM3.nds to M3Menu.dat in directory of microsd card.

I hope, retro will add the modifications like you explain, in the next release

Thank's for this information

Has someone tested "4770 - Bibliothek der Klassischen Buecher (G) (YBND)"?

It doesn´t work for me with the latest retro 6.42.

In the main menu it goes no further and then it goes back to the Start Menu.

I´ve used a clean rom.

Other cards had the same problems, but in the meantime they were fixed their firmwares, so that this game there now work properly...
