MelonDS isn't discontinued
It is still being worked on, just hasn't seen much updates lately.

you might have already heared that drastic has been ported to retroarch and will eventually be open sourced. With this on the horizon I see no point anymore continuing my work. This project is discontinued.

I removed them all in a affect, though that turned out to be pretty stupid. I'm going to make a last release for the time being with all the changes which have accumulated as soon as I get a few things sorted out. Meanwhile, here's the latest release.

Catlover might stop work on MelonDS, but that doesn't mean Hydr8gon or Arisotura will stop work on MelonDS as a whole.
Catlover did the dynarec for MelonDS, but the main devs are still Arisotura and Hydr8gon.
Don't confuse that with melonDS ending development entirely.

Also, it's all speculation about Drastic making a core for Switch and make it open source, since we haven't seen any core yet at all. So there's that as well.

FYI rsduck's fork has nothing to do with Hydr8gon's, he is continuing the project because he wants a final release, he's currently working on DSi support :)

Ah I'm aware of that.
I just meant to say that melonDS by itself is not ending development. Only catlover's work if he so decides. :P

When DraStic is eventually released for Switch Retroarch it'll basically supercede the melonDS core. But since we don't know when that is, it's good that melonDS development is still ongoing.

It's always good to have options tbh.
More so on PC or other ARM devices like Single Board Computers.
It would for sure be neat to see melonDS evolve the way it is going.
I'd still continue to use it on RA even if Drastic comes along for sure.

I'm more happy with MelonDS Standalone its superb than retroarch also anyone know any core can work with Win95 on Switch retroarch or need to be made? Because my Favorvite when I'm young I used to play Pac-Man Advenuture in time and Ms.Pac-Man search for lost gold in Pyramid all these require minimum win 95 to 98 which I have cue and bin for ms. And mdf and md files so hoping anyone know ?

How do I get mupen to fill my screen instead of having blackboarders? I'm using 16:9 adjusted but still have the black borders.

anyone get San Franciso Rush 2049, Heay Metal - Geomatrix or Hydro Thunder running on Flycast yet?? because it came in black but lot of games has been gain and improvement so far Super Runabout, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Sega Rally 2 is still slow. :(

I have a weird problem when I go to change controller binds under input. You know how there's a picture of each button and then it says the button well they're all wrong, and one of the bottons is mapped as Mouse so I can't change it to another button it only lets me increase from 0 to whatever which does nothing. I have no idea how this happened. Has anyone else had this happen or just me?
