Yes, You can make an offline instalation downloading and extracting these files to your sd card:
https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.7.5/nintendo/switch/libnx/RetroArch.7z
Then just install the retroarch nsp file
https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.7.5/nintendo/switch/libnx/RetroArch.nsp

Thanks Bumblecito! I will be try!

I really interesed on Retroarch cause now have .nsp but... ExFat still are dangerous? any recommendation with ExFat users?

EDIT: I'm sorry, i know all of you have a lot question about ExFat SD cards.

Yeah, I got caught out when I first tried setting up playlists for Switch, thought I could just edit my current WiiU playlists :P

The img I posted should be good to go now.. has the correct forward slashes and everything lol

what games have you tried? have you added the bios?

Yup, BIOS files in proper place. Threaded video on, retroarch restarted. Still heavy crackling on the games I've tried: Castlevania SOTN, FFVIII, Suikoden II, and few other games I am forgetting.

No such issues for SNES, GEN emulation. Using 1.75 stable + .NSP launcher.

I've still never been able to solve this despite M4xw's suggestions (threaded video, etc), here:

Development Thread - RetroArch libnx

Bummer.

Well you should really start with familiarizing yourself with various core options. Disable Frame Buffer Emulation. Disable Dithering. Disablel V-Sync. Increase Audio Latency. PSX games run very well, specifically some of the games you mentioned. If your audio is static-y then your game is not running fullspeed. This is true of all cores.

EDIT2:

Because you need to BIND the Hotkey for it.

i havnt tried them games tbh so obviously it could vary alot. what happens when you try to load them? maybe try something like crash bandicoot as a test. seems to work well with very little crackleing in the audio

Thanks, will poke around some more. Was worried about breaking more than fixing :) Oddly enough, the video and FPS for the games I mentioned appear stable. Only the audio crackling was present. but as you said, I will tinker and see if I can get it working.

I have full speed psx emulation on most games I tested like
Ges enter the gecko
Spyro 2
Gta 2
Metal gear solid
Beave fencer musashi
Tenchu

Almost full speed 50-55 fps
Tekken 3
Soul reaver

Not start at all:
Tomb raider 2
Italian job
Destruction derby 2
Wild 9

Those four games get stuck after the main menu reteoarch freezes too, what can I do?

If they have more than 5 .bin files, nothing.

There is an extra ccd file to it. I tried the same files on retroarch pcsx rearmed on my phone and windows and they worked without issue
