is 1.3.3 still the prefered version to be on for gpsp?
on n3ds, which of the snes emulators is best suited for chip games?
finally, i got a question about the neo geo emulator, i'm not really sure about the format i need those in?
i randomly threw the neo geo games in .neo format that the neogeo emulator on DS used, those werent detected.
i also tried some zips of bubble bobble i'm not sure where i got them. those zips were detected, but neo geo crashed when opening those.

have you put the bios near the rom ?

you have to create a folder "roms" and drag both bios and rom (zip format will wok)

i just found my psp and it had some neogeo things, including a neogeo.zip
thats probably whats been missing, right?
and does the folder have to be called roms, or can it be sd://roms/neogeo?

Folder can be named anything. But the ROMs need to be in .zip format.
Redownload the ROMset, please; and make sure your bios .zip contains Uni-BIOS files as well. They need to be in FinalBurnAlpha format, and the PSP NJEMU emulators use a deprecated MAME ROMset, so those can't really be swapped in.

Hey guys I'm a bit confused and going crazy, I've been trying run fba2012, or mame, and any version just becomes a garble mess on the screen on load, nightly or stable.

I'm using the 3dsx versions on a new3dsxl USA, on the latest 11.0 3ds update and the latest menu hax (no cia, no kernal hacks).

fba neo geo, cps1 and cp2 and any other emu runs fine. I want to run cps3 and arcade games, but I can't get mame or fba 2012 to load properly. Any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind, overrides does seem to work, it just doesn't seem to specify anywhere that it loaded the custom .cfg file

Any plans to add the ability to load other .cfg files? When I try to load other .cfg it sticks to retroarch.cfg.

I like to set up the shoulder buttons to save state / load state for gameboy, but I don't want this applying to the other cores. But since this is broken at loading custom .cfg files and overrides are also broken, I have to go into the settings every time and change the config every time I switch to another core to unbind the save state hotkey or rebind it depending on the core.

Please add proper support for .cfg loading.. it would be very convenient. A nice bonus would be supporting overrides like \config\Gambatte\Gambatte.cfg if it could auto load this it would save me a lot of effort.

I'm going to try to edit each .cia file with a hex editor to make each Retroarch core point to a different .cfg file than retroarch.cfg.

Nevermind, my version of youtube was old and had to update it!

This is the BEST NEWS EVER!!! :)
So If I may list (build from 4 september):

- on genesis+gx.cia:
* video filters still impossible to use. Could you enable it?
* tearing to the right screen on some games.
* a new issue appeared: on some games, when you move the screen is like "shaking" or something. Very inconfortable

- on gpsp.cia:
* the line at the top is still here. BUT it vanishes with a filter activated (LQ2X for me).
* I experienced the same "screen shaking".

- on picodrive.cia:
*really small tearing at the left of the screen without LQ2X filter.
* huge screen tearing at the right of the screen with LQ2X filter on, exactly as genesis+gx without filters.

It seems stuff are done again on those cores. :)

I would like to see:
- filters for genesis+gx
- those crazy tearing gone.
