I'd love to play the classic Fallout games (1 and 2) on a handheld. The gameplay is slow and methodical and uses a mouse interface which seems perfect for the 3DS and its touchscreen.

Is anyone out there working on a port of the games to 3DS?

Fallout 1 and TES Arena may be played with DOS emulation only on a N3DS. Not sure about Fallout 2...

This isn't in response to that skyrim request earlier is it?

Not really possible. There is no source code available for either game. You can run them in RetroArch Dosbox, but it'll be slow, under 20 FPS. on N3DS. Without source code it's pretty much impossible to port anything without it taking hundreds or maybe even thousands of man hours of reverse engineering (see https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/threads/starcraft.73844/ ).
