Homebrew Removing Unlaunch from a stock dsi?

I have a US black dsi running 1.4.5. , after installing unlaunch using the flipnote lenny method, i later found out that issues could arise from installing unlaunch v0.9 on a 1.4.5 firmware dsi. Not being very smart, I reset my dsi to factory settings using the settings, thinking it would clear out unlaunch. Now, whenever I turn my dsi on, the unlaunch splash screen will appear and freeze, forcing me to turn off my console. If I hold A how ever, there is about a 1/10 chance it boots properly to the home menu, where I can access all of the normal dsi features. How should I go about getting rid of unlaunch completely? or is there a way to enable a ds cart autoboot for games? This is a stock dsi so I have no dsi ware titles installed and the eshop is gone. I've since lost the NAND backup for my dsi since I first installed unlaunch. Any hope?

Just update unlaunch to the latest version (1.8), also those boot issues have been fixed since 1.5. To update, download the installer from nocash's site (https://problemkaputt.de/unlaunch.htm), and put the ".dsi" file renamed as bootcode.dsi in the root of your ad card and install the updated version.
