Homebrew TWLmenu++ Settings aren't saving

I downloaded TWLmenu to my DSI, I was happy at first but I thought of getting a custom background for TWLmenu. I figured out that I needed to download a file for the settings that didn't come with the TWLmenu folder (at least I think it didn't, but it never loaded before i added the file sooooo). Now all I had to do was get some skins for the different types of UI's.

When I loaded TWLmenu using unlaunch, It boots to the Select your Language menu (that you see when you launch twilight menu for the first time).

Now, this might not might seem like a big deal; but at the time I didn't know simply entering the Select your Language would reset the Settings as well, I figured this out by myself and I'm not sure if anybody else has this issue. I did a bit of testing and found out that if you go to the settings there will be a button that says "TWiLight menu++" that, well, takes you to twilight menu, this is the only way I know to keep your settings the same every time you want to load twilight menu after resetting.

I wanna be able to launch TWL Menu instantly, but the settings takes a couple more seconds to load then the TWL menu splash, which can even be turned off.

I'm wondering if anybody can help me fix my issue (pls and thx).

Does it show the "Select your Language" menu every time you start "TWiLight Menu++" from the Unlaunch menu?
If so, try reformatting the SD card here: https://dsi.cfw.guide/sd-card-setup.html

I did this, it worked, and now i can boot twl menu with unlaunch without having to use the twlmenu settings.

It even fixed when the game crashes and gives you the option to leave the game, originally it made you go to the select your language menu too, but after I reformatted the sd card it fixed it, and i could keep my theme.
