Hi, i already asked this in the "skytempidedit" topic but got no answer so far, so do I have to use an ID from a physical copy, or am I supposed to just fill in a Random 16-digit number from 1-F?

You're supposed to put in a Unique ID from a legit cartridge and the Unknown ID from the corresponding Sky3DS template file. This program is an alternative for people who don't feel like manually editing the template.txt and would rather do it somewhat automatically.

Now you get two boxes, one with the base template from Sky's template file, one for the generated one (for comparison purposes). Unknown ID can now be auto-detected from the template file or manually inputted (no reason for Zero-fill, it won't work anyways). EEPROM will be divided into Manufacturer and Size sections instead of lumping it all together for more flexibility. Also looking through the code and implementing small bugfixes. No ETA yet, but the new version should be out soon.

IMHO the UI is getting a bit messy.

Are you inputting a valid UniqueID?ive tried multiple variations for mh4u (us) and i still cant get pass the error code 002-0123. Anyone got a little insight on that? please and thank you

I know Gateway users can use any kind of header for all their ROMs (e.g. 512 MB card 1 header on 4 GB card 2 ROMs) because tools like 3DS ROM Editor and Gateway ROM Patcher auto-fix the necessary values.
Is Sky Army Knife capable of doing the same thing? Or do I still need to look for the right header for the right ROM?

You can freely modify headers, that's why I'm giving users the option to do so with the drop-down menus.
I'm not sure what you're trying to do, why are you using an identical value for both Unknown and Unique ID? They're separate, the Unknown ID comes from the original template, the Unique ID should be your private ID dumped from an original cartridge (unless you're making a template for an offline game, in which case you can put in random gibberish or Zero-Fill).

Huh. Must be something wrong with the magic check I've implemented, I'll double-check what's the problem.
EDIT: It's Sky Team's fault, they're not very tidy in their template. Sky Army Knife checks the first line of the file for verification. Delete the two newlines in the file and it'll work fine.
EDIT2: I see that you've found the problem yourself, good job.
EDIT3: Added an analysis of an example template to the first post so that everyone knows where to look up their values if they don't want to input their own (often times Sky Team inputs random EEPROM ID/Cart ID information rather than the correct values, some users might want to "correct" those mistakes in their templates manually).
Is there any way to just update the headers to something random to keep the nintendo banhammer away?
