Yeah that’s what I initially followed. Either way the guide and the video at page 1 say the same thing in activating ugopwn exploit. Copy, paste 122 times, erase and paste. Either guide, I have the same issue.

ugopwn for some reason doesn't work on my dsi either

seems to have something to do with the 2nd flipnote being different

I remember someone yesterday on the discord with a DSi branded SD card doing the same thing. Maybe try another SDHC?

Well I tried another SDHC card with 8gb this time. Still no dice.

You are moving to the third page when pasting, right? the first time you paste, it has to be on the third page, which is a blank page.
then you delete the third page, and paste on the second..

Looks like the procedure is correct, if you're sure it's a US console then the only thing that could be wrong is the file structure or the sd card itself. Which sd card(s) did you use?

I checked the file structure already. It seems good to me according to dsiguide.me and the Sd card I used in the video is a SDHC 4GB. I already have using a normal 2GB SD and a 8gb SDHC. None have worked so far.

The same happens to me, the weird thing is that it worked the first 4 times i did it when it launched but later it started doing that

Indeed it freeze, and the procedure its exactly the same i followed.
however i found one difference, when i entered to my flipnote studio, mine does not greet me with a calendar, nor saved data. that might have something to do with this.

Also, i totally hope that you do have the needed files in order to boot, also, what are you trying to boot exactly? what its your boot.nds file?

Btw, I was trying to get ready for this by copying Flipnote to the SD Card via Data Management...
but when i press copy it fails everytime.

It might have to do something related to internet or DSi settings. I’ll mess around with that. Other than that, I’m booting FWTOOL as my boot.nds

OH BOY I FIGURED IT OUT. Thanks to ScarletDreamz for pointing out the differences.

So if anyone has the same freezing problem I have and has tried all the solutions and none of them have worked, First, turn off WiFi or delete your WiFi settings in the DSi System settings. Then, go to Flipnote, click the wrench or settings icon, turn off calendar and then keep pressing the right arrow until you find Erase Data. Select Erase Data. Then select System memory. Press Erase All Flipnotes. Do the same for SD Card. After that, put the ugopwn files and Boot.nds back into your SD card again. Try the exploit again. It should work this time.
The second Flipnote should look like the image below. I believe this is the signal that the exploit will work.

From what I can tell, past data from using Flipnote or the calendar can stop the exploit from working. So if you have used Flipnote before and made some on your DSi, I recommend Erasing them all for the exploit to work. Don’t worry, as you have the option to back the notes into and SD card as well in the options. You can back them up on to a computer from there.
