Whelp. tried to make a new update with the new updater, same result as the previous time.
Not sure if it helps, but on the HOME menu it gives "a software update is available" while i have it installed.
Maybe it's the RSF i'm using? anyone know how to make one of those?
Yeah, I experienced that problem too. I fixed it by going into the RSF file(it's plain text) and changing the RemasterVersion to 0114.

shinyquagsire, I figured it out lol. It was because Windows uses backslashes for the path name. I added
Code:
.replace('\\', '/')
at the end of line 14 and I'm about to test it.

EDIT: yep lolz

Update nag.
Whelp, i get the update nag even with RemasterVersion set to 0114. would you mind sharing your .rsf so i can compare?

But yeah, i'm starting to think that the code between versions differs more than @shinyquagsire23 thinks. or i'm doing something completely wrong.

EDIT2: i'm suspecting i've been using the wrong titleid all this time.
0004000E000EE000 is correct for the EUR patch right?

Actually, nevermind. My 3DS just hadn't given me the message yet. It just came up.

Went ahead and fixed that in the repository, I figured it was something silly like that.

I usually end up with the update nag regardless, not sure why to be honest. And it's possible there are code differences, but I'm highly doubtful.

How do i rebuild the update cia?
makerom.exe -f cxi -target t -rsf rsf.txt -o smash-113t.cxi -exheader exheader.bin -code code.bin -romfs romfs.bin -alignwr
Exinjector.exe -rom smash-113t.cxi -exheader exheader.bin -sd
makerom.exe -f cia -target t -content smash-113t.cxi:0:0 -o smash-113t.cia

So I got it built but my custom textures crashed the game (over falcon), anything special I should know about textures?

EDIT: NVM, it just took a lot longer to load.

Anytime I edit a character's animcmd, their grabs always crash the game, even if I don't edit their grab? Is anyone else having this problem?

Which files have you been editing? Have you been taking them from the dt/ls from the newest update when you can? I'd think that since the updates happened the original files of the game might not be compatible anymore. Diddy having that weird grab glitch a while back would make me think they were making some changes to how grabs work.

So after having tried with a .rsf that was actually intended for the EU version, i can now confirm that SaltySD just doesn't work on european patches.
