I mean the GitHub source. That should be easy

You think he'd be dumb enough to show his homebrew checking code on GitHub? Lol...No. That part like with the the rest of the stuff he uses to launch rxMode will be closed sourced. Try again dude. :P

Nah, it involves soldering and such. I'm not confident in my abilities with that. Sigh. At least I have one 3DS XL that can do all the exploits.

MT-Card classic mode not have any diferences with or without the card and they say: Put the card

some people make mistakes, i'm trying to warn him

I don't want 3DS to become a developr stuff platform. because of gateway layton 7 and fantasy life 2 are gonna be phone games and not 3ds games

Size checking for unsigned content would be one easy way of detecting homebrew. The vast majority of games exceed 128MB or more. Homebrew is almost always smaller then that. Not sure how you are going to do that, but hopefully this includes allowing SaveDataFiler and DevMenu. (Well I suppose there's BigRedMenu)

*flushes the idea of ever having flac or wav background audio on any homebrew released*

Admittedly, in the real world, size checking would be an okay way for quick-and-dirty checking for homebrew.
But Roxas already confirmed he has a different check in place, so is this even something that needs to be discussed anymore?

I'm curious to see the next update, I still have to update my emunand to 9.6, for study are not yet able to make a copy of the current emunand. I hope this update will bring a bit of life to the scene of the homebrew 3ds.

Homebrew can just use external files for that. Size check would only be for the installed CXI binary. But that is besides the point since it appears he's not using that check. For now I could care less how his check works so long as it allows SaveDataFiler to work. :P

Well, here is a suggestion for CIA Installation... I probably won't be capable of doing this, so... here is an idea you could implement into rxMode. I recommend having a toggle for ctrsvr enabling and disabling.

My ultimate end goal is to hopefully make either a launcher.dat or boot.bin that runs ctrsrv regardless of if a button is pressed/held. Hell, if it works, I'll try to make a mini GUI where you can select whether or not you want to load ctrsrv mode. But it's probably going to be a very, very long time before I can get that...

Hope it is considered for this project! Use it freely!

Is it possible to restore Sysnand with Emunand?
No. This will brick your system.
Why do people keep spreading this bullshit?

You can indeed restore an emunand backup to sysnand WITHOUT it bricking, honestly don't know where people are getting the idea that it will brick your system. :glare:

I've done it MULTIPLE times both via the gateway downgrade/upgrade (restore) menu option and with a hardmod on my OLD 3ds, had no problems at all.

In fact that was the first thing i did when gateway released the option to do so with their menu. :P

Really ???

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
