Sure having it as part of the program is easier, a good suggestion also, but keep in mind you're not the only one using it and having the same "issues" so if anyone reads the thread they,ll also beneficiate from our messages, you know?
Im agree in the part that other users can benefit of our messages. But i know that im not the only one that uses the program and already was stated on previous post that you can modify the assets.
Hi there, is there any way I can customize the full banner, rather than having the 'playstation' banners on the left and right sides? And I'd also really like to use custom images for the icon, but it seems to always generate the icon from the banner image.

edit: oh, I see, I can do that by replacing the asset files and then simply not picking a banner, got it

I built my own PBP from my own ripped Bin Cues and now can reach the "retroarch" running but the game will not launch I only see the bottom touch pad options.
 
Hello, I need a bit of help with the PS1 Forwarder Creator. I was wondering how to get Castlevania SOTN to save as when I tested it, it worked fine but when I exited after I saved at the saveroom, I had to start from the beginning. It also said 'used' in the file and I couldn't access it. Thanks in advance

sorry for the lack of updates, I don't have as much free time as before.
I just published a new update to fix chd and prevent people to even try to run ps1 games on a base 3ds (it doesn't work, trust me). no new core this time, sorry. I'll see if I can make a core update in the future, I know retroarch was affected recently from a cyberattack and some cores suffered regressions because of that, don't know if pcsx-rearmed is among the affected cores or if the issue was already solved but didn't want to risk accidentally downgrading because of that.

as for customizing the banner and sound.
I wanted for these tools to be easy to use and hassle free, so I won't be adding that option as it would make my work of maintaining it harder as well as creating confusion among new users. sorry about that.

Thank you very much for the chd fix! And no problem with the customization, it would be cool to have more options, but it can be done manually, so its not a big problem.
 
are there any limitations for the .wav to replace the one included? (time limit or specifics about the format?)

still can't get MGS to work...

It seems I still can't save and load my save. I think I'm missing something, but what is it?
 
:( I need help with some games when it comes to going from the intro video, the controls do not respond to me, change the settings and try all the controls and none of them grab me in others, it stays stuck up

The info that you provide its poor. Give more details, for example what psx cpu clock you use on the injections? Some games runs better if you underclock the psx clock (on the 3DS the default is 50) but on other games, it breaks controls. (Some examples are Crash Bandicoot or Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver, if you set the psx clock to 30 it breaks the controls. )

I am actually also pretty disappointed that the core hasn't been updated. I really think that @Sakitoshi should either make this project open-source or at least give an option for the user to update the core themselves. I think it would much less of a hassle on everyone, especially for Sakitoshi.

Is there a more up to date compatibility list? I'm wondering if breath of fire 3 and legend of mana work, before I bother with going through trying them manually. (If no one has though, I'll poke at them.)

Did you have to do anything special making the cia? I am trying now, I have a pbp of the game, and I'm using the PSXONPSP660.BIN bios, but when I install the cia and try to launch it, it just quits back to the 3ds desktop after 30 seconds or so.
