Homebrew [Release] OctoFBI

Hello everyone, I'm here to release my first "software" ever.

It's a fork of FBI by @Steveice10 that has a 3D banner created by me with help from @Apache Thunder!
It also uses the animal crossing banner audio because the drum roll was a tad jarring to me.

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Instead of forking it you could've pushed it to the real thing... Now we have another version floating around that'll probably confuse a few people out.
(Besides, FBI as CIA manager is bad anyways, I had so many weird problems with it...)

I am not Steveice. I can't just commit to his build. Also this has a few things I want... if you really have an issue with "another version" take that up with FTP-3DS, FTPD, DePony FTP, FTPDorf.

This isn't a [Release], its just a changed banner/music. Not like you edited the code or anything, I don't even think it could even be called a fork.

I apologize that I did not investigate further, but you really should've just talked to Steveice about this, would've been easier to have in one place.
And he will be updating his anyway since the memchunkhax2 came out as he has said...

We did actually! He gave me pointers and explained how his code works. Nice guy! He's working on a patch right now so it might not be the best idea to merge.

Not to be too harsh, but it seems a bit egotistical and attention seeking to so blatantly shove half your name in the rebranding of this fork.

It makes it seem like you're only doing this to get your name out there.

Or just send a pull request with the banner (which looks nicer than the current one) and see if steveice10 accepts it or not. That way it's in the main FBI repo and you get credited (provided you created the banner in the first place). I don't really want to argue about forking projects because that is a complex argument, it's a side effect of open-source software but I think it would be a smarter choice just to send a pull request

Talking to him now. Just didn't wanna spoil his future plans.

I do like the icon, so, you did a fine job with that. But, I do agree with others that you should have just gave it to steveice10.

Personally, I won't be using it since it's not the official.

Oh I was hoping OctoFBI would install 8 cias at once.

Step 1) Put 8 cias in 1 folder
Step 2) Email Nintendo Support asking why your 3DS won't boot your CFW
Step 3) If they don't give a useful reply then call Nintendo Support with the same question
Step 4) Watch as how your CFW magically boots while calling
Step 5) Open OctoFBI
Step 6) Go in the folder of the CIAs
Step 7) Press X to install all CIAs in Folder
Step 8) Profit?
