You can, it won't take long if the update is already downloaded.

guys i need some help,i have replaced old launcher with the new one but when i click on DS profile it actually takes me to DS profile it wont boot to gateway mode any more,i have tried different sd cards but same problem. any idea what's happening here ?

Reapply the DS Mode exploit. Did you play any DS game recently?
