Actually. Most titles provide title metadata for multiple languages. Most JP region titles have English title data. Perhaps I'll just have it use English when it's available and only use Japanese when English doesn't exist. Of course, I imagine many JP exclusive titles may not have English, but better than nothing.

EDIT: also I'm assuming most people don't care about demos, since I've heard no complaints. I'm not adding them, at least not now. Though some special demos are already on freeShop.
Well demos would be a great feature seeing how the new monster hunter Generations demo was just uploaded to the titlekey site and it's not labeled as 'special' :/

how often does the cache update? rhytm heaven came out today and is on the real eshop, but doesnt appear in freeshop when searched

Well, think I got DLC and Updates all figured out for freeShop 1.3

They won't be listed with normal titles or searchable. When you queue a game for download it will auto-queue any relevant updates/DLC for that game (this can be disabled from settings when those are implemented). Additionally, you will be able to view a list of games you have installed already and it will have little indicators if they have updates/DLC not installed. That's essentially how it's going to work, without going into specifics.

Will be several days before this is done. I'm reworking the game cache now. All titles will have working icons (except DSiWare, I'm not sure where to fetch those), and I'm adding genre info to games. Though it won't be useful until I implement filtering options in settings.
OH MY GLOB....I can finally try to update my Jap titles on the fly!!!

@TheCruel, can you add this game, please? Both EU and US. Thanks.
TheCruel doesn't add nor remove games.
It's the encTitleKeys.bin file the one that provides that.

Update the file to the latest version, if it still doesn't appear, it's because no one has bothered to upload it to the title key database.

I dunno if this is 100% true, TheCruel doesn't update the titlekey list, but I believe he still has his cache that gets downloaded automatically. And if a game is in the titlekey list, but not his cache, it won't show up.

Sooooo some games install just fine for me, such as Paper Mario Sticker Star and Super Smash Bros, but a lot of games will spend the entire time downloading, then give this error: "Failed to finalize content install 0xF9608022"
Suggestions? Running the latest CFW Luma3ds on o3ds, sysNand at 11.0.0-33U

I always found it funny how people will list what games work, and completely gloss over the fact that knowing what fails is the actual useful bit of information.

They have a bad Internet conection.
They atributes it to the homebrew itself

Okay then, for example, Bravely Default. The game is queued, goes through the entire download process, then gives that error. I was saying that those 2 were of the 6 games that actually worked, the rest do not. I'm having trouble finding exactly what that error code means, so I thought I'd ask here....

Yes, but "Here are some games that work, others don't" isn't helpful. Maybe you were trying to download SNES VC on an o3ds? Maybe you were trying to install Xenoblade or some other N3DS exclusive, we don't know, because you didn't tell anyone what was failing. That's the funny part, everyone, not just you, posts what works, but rarely if ever posts what doesn't. And the gets defensive when it's pointed out that the useful information isn't what works, but what doesn't.

Is your internet connection stable? As @Billy Acuña said, an unstable internet connection can cause some issues.
Do you have enough free space on your SD card? There's currently no checks in place to make sure space is available.
Have you ever (Even if you've formatted since then) installed these games on your 3ds? FreeShop should remove the existing ticket, but maybe it's causing an issue for some reason.

Based on the error number given, these are the details:

Level: 0x1F (RL_FATAL)
Summary: 11 (RS_INTERNAL)
Module: 32 (RM_AM)
Description: 34 (UNKNOWN)

Even FBI doesn't seem to list what description 34 for the AM module is.

I think it's a bug in freeShop, I deleted freeShop folder thinking it was the cache, I made sure that Rhythm Heaven Megamix ticket was inside encTitleKey.bin but freeShop still doesn't display it as available.

I guess it needs to be in the eshop-cache's repo in order to show up.

Im having the same problem, i downloaded the latest encTitleKeys.bin but Rhythm Heaven Megamix doesn't show up, and Kirby's Planet Robobot already added and shows up. What's the problem?

Did... did you even read the post you quoted? Or the one on the previous page (Back maybe 6 posts) explaining the exact same thing...
