Does this have 3D (3ds depth)? I swear I've heard it has actual 3D but I'm not seeing any 3D depth at all on my New 3ds.
one of the earlier version had Stereo3D, like v0.2 or so. I remember Wave Race for instance running pretty well with it (on a new3DS). At this point I'm hoping for native ports like SM64, which runs fantastic in Stereo3D, as it definitely seems possible for many if not most or all of the titles to have it and run well.

Will there be a new team working on this emulator, it’s very buggy and unoptimized, I bet if there was a new team that could trim up the fat of this we could make it better, maybe get kaze emanuar if he is interested, he’s very fluent in the n64 know how technical scene side.

I downloaded this emulator as CIA & regular in the Universal Updater to my New 3DSXL. Neither one boots to the emulator menu. Just a scrambled screen & then black. I'm not a noobie, but i must say the homebrew channel, website & navigation were far better organized than 3ds. Very little is properly organized for users. Readme files are pathetic & don't provide a decent breakdown like wiibrew dot org has. That website is neat. 3ds Hacks is a terrible scrambled mess in comparison. I'm very disappointed with whoever is running things over there. I'm so irritated I'm not sure i want my 3DS modded with such a mess of the community. They should have taken design & standardizations from Wiibrew. 🤬

Huh, I thought I had included a warning in UU for this one... You will need to create "sdmc:/3ds/DaedalusX64/Roms/" and actually put a ROM in there or you get this bugged screen.

Edit: Universal-Updater will now warn you about this bug before you install. Would obviously be better if the app itself handled it better, but I don't currently have any involvement with its code and I don't think its been updated for a while.

It seems like the only project that has a decent well thought out README file is RetroArch. These instructions would be easy to add to it. I will try it out. Thank you very much.

It's really sad, the 3DS has far more power & RAM than the Wii & the latest Wii64 updates play a lot of games great. I don't understand why RetroArch still doesn't have an N64 core for the 3DS.
what are you smoking? wii is better than standard 3ds by far...
3DS: 268mhz duel core Arm11s
WII: 729mhz single core

Also emulators are not multicore so they run on single core, atleast almost all emulators that are standard use.

Even new 3ds is not better than wii, xenoblade chronicles new 3ds exclusive had many downgrades compared to the wii version to make it playable...

Well that's a bummer.

Well, that definitely worked. But I could only get 2 games to boot. Dr Mario 64 & F-Zero X but they ran terribly with a lot of glitches then froze.

Information I found.
3DS Strengths (especially New 3DS)
New 3DS Boost: The New 3DS (N3DS) received a major hardware upgrade with a much faster CPU (nearly 3x faster) and more RAM, making it closer to Wii level.
Shader Support: The 3DS's GPU, while different, offered shader support, allowing for advanced lighting and visual effects, which helped some games look great despite lower resolution.
Resolution Trade-off: The 3DS's lower native resolution (compared to Wii's upscaled output) meant games could look impressive but suffered from noticeable jagged edges on big screens, though excellent on its small handheld display.
Conclusion:
Original 3DS vs. Wii: Wii is more powerful.
New 3DS vs. Wii: It's a very close call, with the N3DS often matching or exceeding the Wii in CPU-intensive tasks and achieving comparable visuals, thanks to its improved hardware and optimization.

yeah that that is only on new 3ds and barely anyone had a new 3ds and most modders didnt make new 3ds exclusive stuff and again xenoblade chronicles its a wii game and looks much worst on new 3ds and it was a new 3ds launch exclusive so in the end new 3ds its still inferior to wii even by nintendo themselves they couldnt port a wii game without many compromises and they did make both systems and the game themselves.
