@MasterFeizz I know this probably isn't the question you want to hear, but do you have any plans for 3d support?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also, great work on these ports. Can't wait try your next releases

Yes, hardware acceleration is slowly being worked on. My next release will probably be something original, but I'm still thinking.

How much of an upgrade was quake 2 to quake 1? It was only a year between those two...
They are fairly different. Engine wise quake 2's engine was broken down into different dynamic "modules", that's what makes it harder to port to the 3ds. And gameplay was greatly enhanced, not to mention the soundtrack.

I just wanted to show everyone how much we would gain to have the status bars on the lower screen. All three pictures are taken without any movement from the player.

As you can see, the last picture without any status bars has much more viewing than the others.

If it is a rather easy task, please make the status bars on the lower screen as an option! :)

@MasterFeizz i was trying to play some coop with this. Do you know of any Windows based servers that I could use locally for coop? I havent been able to find one and I don't want to use another quake with some dummy player just sitting there.

Btw, you've been really helpful and patient dealing with end user questions. I appreciate your help and the amount of support you give for your projects.

This is source port of winQuake, so winQuake will work. GLquake will probably will work too.
I always try too help when I can.

Edit: Download the shareware client from id and replace the pak files, it comes with winQuake and GLquake

Hi, first of all i'd like to thank you for porting this game, i'm amazed it works so good.
But i'm running into some performance problems, while playing i get a RAM icon in the upper left corner and the sound starts cracking. Is it normal?

Running the game on a n3DS, firmware 10.3 with menuhax 2.1

That's normal, I've been working on other things and haven't giving this project much time but I'm slowly updating it.

You just need to add the .pak files from the full version into the id1 folder.

Can we get a cia version now that everyone can downgrade :P
CIA versions for ctrQuake and EDuke3D are planned, but right now I'm woking on some "bigger" things that will help me with future homebrews and games. Most importantly is "flipGS" which will help bring hardware acceleration (and 3D) to ctrQuake.
You can check my webiste (masterfeizz.indiebrew.io) for info on what I'm currently working on. I will make a new post this week, possibly today, with some progress updates and info on some homebrews I've started but put on hold.
