Correction. 5 years. It took 5 years to write a wii u emu. Thats where that estimate comes from.People said similar about a Wii U emulator...
This does not determine easy emulator development. Hardware might be documented but this is a CUSTOMIZED system. Writing out ASLR itself will be a nightmare.switch emulator should be easier than wii U in my opinion. Hardware is more common than wii U. Not that i care too much. Switch is too expensive and i do not see it replacing the n3ds fast. And most of all... i do not own it.

Fair enough. That's on a powerpc chip tho This tegra chip is gonna be a bit harder to create syscalls for, especially if Cemu as I hear it uses SDK symbols which I doubt nintendo would do again.Wii U release date: 18 November 2012
CEMU Release Date: 13 October 2015
Elapsed time. 2 years 23 months.

Yes but realizing that pulling off the MIRACLE that was the Wii U SDK having PowerPC to x86 symbols means that the devs lives were INFINITELY easier. Switch SDK doesnt have that. You ARE aware that the Switch SDK has already leaked, right?
How can I play online without having a Wii U?
