switch emulator should be easier than wii U in my opinion. Hardware is more common than wii U. Not that i care too much. Switch is too expensive and i do not see it replacing the n3ds fast. And most of all... i do not own it.

People said similar about a Wii U emulator...
Correction. 5 years. It took 5 years to write a wii u emu. Thats where that estimate comes from.

This does not determine easy emulator development. Hardware might be documented but this is a CUSTOMIZED system. Writing out ASLR itself will be a nightmare.

Wii U release date: 18 November 2012
CEMU Release Date: 13 October 2015

Elapsed time. 2 years 23 months. ;)
Fair enough. That's on a powerpc chip tho ;) This tegra chip is gonna be a bit harder to create syscalls for, especially if Cemu as I hear it uses SDK symbols which I doubt nintendo would do again.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
