I'm running Cemu through Batocera. So only have USB controller connected.

Was wondering if there is a way to configure the USB controller to emulate some of the special moves that need to be performed on the Gamepad to continue in In certain games such as Captain Toad Treasure Hunter?

Having trouble migating from WIi U to Cemu on Splatoon using Pretendo servers.

I have it all set up and up to date, but Splatoon 1 doesn't go past the initial loading screen. I notice that when I turn online servers off in the General Settings, I'm able to actually play the game(offline). But turning it on doesn't even get me to the title screen.

Should I just wait for future updates and not bother?

You could report issues in http://github.com/cemu-project/Cemu/issues

Anyone getting crashes when loading into Splatoon? I'm using 2.0-88. The game seems to work fine when I launch it and let it create save data, but when I merge my backed up save files into it, it crashes on the loading screen before getting in game. I've also backed up and copied the necessary files as per the guide. Is this something new? I don't see any reason why there would be a mismatch, as it's a dump of the exact same game install and save data I use on real hardware. I can provide a log file if necessary, just asking if I could've missed something in the process. The game starts up the second I nuke save data from the emulated MLC.

Edit: I removed some friends on Pretendo and made sure I imported game update files, and now it's fine.

I'm using cemu on steam deck and everytime I set my controls and play a game it works, but as soon as I exit the game and try try to play it again it doesn't save my controls and I have to go into desktop mode again to reset my binds. I feel like I've tried everything to fix this and nothing works. Anyone having the same problem?

Best to use Desktop Mode for Emulators. Apparently Desktop Mode is less Restrictive

How do you fullscreen it on desktop mode and get it to work with the steam deck's controls though? it doesn't seem to work just reads it like a keyboard.

For GamePad - Press and Hold Start Button for 2-3 Seconds. Notification should show in Bottom Right
For Full Screen - Suggest Clicking on the Middle Icon (Minimize, Full Screen, Exit) to show it full Screen but still have the Menu. Or you can go to Options, and Check the Full Screen Box, but also go to Options-General Settings, and Check the Fullscreen Menu Bar Box

When I play a WiiU game through cemu on steam deck the controls don't work until I go into desktop mode and enable them through cemu on there. It works when I go back into gaming mode but if I close the game and open it up my controls don't work again and I have to repeat. How do I fix this?

PSA for Linux users!

The latest release of Cemu 2.6 on GitHub has been compromised by a pro-Russian user who distributed an infostealer for both the AppImage and Ubuntu ZIP assets (the Windows or macOS builds are not affected). If you had used this between May 6th and May 12th, do a complete re-install of your distribution and change all of your passwords. This article goes into more detail about how the payload works, what to look out for on your computer if you got infected, and how to remove the malware.
