Gaming Regaurding Warranty Stickers

My xbox 360 was fixed even without a proper warranty sticker!
It was circuit city's warranty sticker from their repair center. In it's defense it was in the same place as a real xbox warranty sticker and it did say "Warranty seal" but NOT "Microsoft". But on the top of the unit there was a sticker saying "Refurbished".lol.

But anyways heres the backround.
Xbox broke.(graphical errors then 1 out of 4 rings flashing red)
used CC warranty
recieved old Xeon xbox.
RRoD
Sent in for free even though warranty expired and incorrect sticker.
Today checked repair status and it said "Repair complete your console has been shipped"
PLUS i received a 3 month extension to a dead warranty.

so if you have a kinda shady looking warranty sticker I'd say "Go for it buddy"
if anyone else is or was in my situation would you mind sharing your own experience

Don't you mean year? I thought each refurb xbox came with a new 3 year warranty?

3 years from the date of purchase, depends when the xbox was bought. Mine was fixed RROD 9 months ago but is now out of warranty, so a 3 month extension is a pretty good offer, I guess it was bought 2 yrs 11 months ago ish..
