Hello all, long time lurker with a quick question. I have an old 3ds, first model released, with cfw at 11.6. I purchased two new 2ds xl for my niece/nephew. I was able to successfully hack one of them via the injection method. 7 days have passed and i am ready to do the next one. Question i have is, whether i can simply just do another transfer from my old one to the new one? Or do i have to use the first target ds to transfer to the new target ds.

I do not care about the nind and it can stay on the first ds i transferred to.

If i can just do another transfer, do i need to repeat the first steps, or can i simply do the transfer, the injected sudoku game is still on my source ds.

Thank You

From what I understand, just to the transfer from the 1st N2DS to the 2nd N2DS like you did already with the O3DS.
The hacked save should carry over to the 2nd N2DS along with the NNID.
Just repeat the process again and you should be good to go.

Ah so one can only transfer from the system with the NIND on it so in order for me to use my original 3ds i would have to call nintendo to get it transfered back?

To use the original 3DS you'd have to buy the game again. The first N3DS now owns the game so it makes more sense to use it as the source as SirEck said.

in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
