On ebay today I saw this. It's the exact same hard drive I use and it works great on my Wii and Wii U.
It's only going for $34.99 and has free shipping. Added bonus, it's from the NewEgg ebay store. Looks like they're trying to get rid of their older USB 2.0 hard drives. This is a great deal for anyone looking for a reliable Hard Drive for their Wii.

At that price though you gotta worry what's wrong with the thing.

Not necessarily, it might just be stolen. I took a closer look at my HDD I got for my Wii, and when I went to register it it turned out it was a stolen unit. (Not that I cared, I got the drive at the perfect price)

Actually I heard that's no longer the case as they acquired some other HDD manufacturer brand. Don't remember the details though.
Just stay away from Seagate and you're good.
I've had/read about a bad experience with product Y from company X. I will complain about <Y> forever, even though it's inevitable for product <Y> to fail at least in a few cases, no matter which vendor produced it.

Some HDDs are more prone to failure than others. Seagates aren't that great.

That's true. But seagate has ridiculously high failure rates. It's the worst manufacturer you could possibly go with.
I haven't actually had problems with them myself, but then again I haven't had a lot of experience with them, and I probably never will since I care about preserving my data.

Every HDD manufacturer has ridiculously high failure rates.

I've owned Western Digital and Toshiba HDDs. After about a year the Toshiba hasn't crapped out on me.

I've had two WD external HDDs have their connectors break, which made it nearly impossible to extract my data from them.

Ridiculously high compared to what? You need a comparison point.
Regardless Seagate's is much higher than all of them. There was a test done on this but I can't seem to find the link now.
Edit: However this only seems to apply to their 3.5" drives as they are made by a different department.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
