i have marked out above where to edit the save file to change some stats using a hex editor.

i'm relatively new too this so any tips would be appreciated :)

i am also still going through slowly with multiple save files, making small changes and looking to see what changed, once i find more ill post a reply.

Thanks,
T

Thanks for sharing! Cool you found more offsets.

Although it's easier to write the offsets down like this:
0x16714 (the location) - Rainbow Pearls

what is the max value the rainbow pearls can go to? (can it go above 65535? if so, it is definitely 4 byte)

1 bunch of '2 digits' is a byte, and yes you see there are two bytes you circled in red.
01 is 1 byte, 90 is 1 byte, FF is one byte.
1F2, 01F2, 0333, FFF, these are 2 bytes.

Just tested it but it does not go above 3 bytes. if it has 4 or 5 bytes the value goes to -1.

Thanks for the tip on just writing the offsets :)
