Hacking r4i sdhc please upgrade hardware for support latest firmware

just tried updating firmware on R4 card to R4i English V1.25b and got this error "r4i sdhc please upgrade hardware for support latest firmware" total noob wen it comes to this .. first time trying to update the R4

1.3E dsi with a R4i SDHC red box one with the 1.4 sticker .. any help would be great thanks

Try your previous firmware. Does it work when you use the previous firmware?
Can't 100% say so, but I've heard some R4i SDHC's won't work with V1.25b
If that fails, get an Acekard 2i.

That is 100% clone. Buy an acekard from shoptemp.

DSi enhanced games, yes but without the enhanced DSi features. This also means that you cannot play DSi exclusive games.

Make sure you buy Acekard 2i if you want it to be DSi compatible.

It Usually gives me 1 and a half weeks delivery from Shoptemp and i'm in the UK.

You can, and I would recommend it, but you can do it yourself if you want as long as you have another DS Phat/Lite in your possession. But as I said, I recommend getting the flashing service.
