Recently got a hold of an R4iSDHC Gold Pro Upgrade 2014 RTS yadda yadda(sheesh these names), anyways the card and packaging look exactly like this except it has 2014 on it instead of 2015:
This is their official firmware page and the only firmware I could get going.
The official firmware is buggy(won't scroll past 3 skins, brightness settings suck, stuck on scrolling down for first startup, some homebrew not launching etc) so I tried to get it going with multiple versions of RetroGameFan's versions of YSmenu, TTDSi, and Wood but none could get past the "Menu ?" screen.
The firmware folder structure is
\R4.dat
\R4iMenu
which contains the same files as the TTDSi and looks the same when run. I've tried renaming other firmware's startup files to it but again couldn't get past the "Menu ?". The closest I got was with a firmware from r4i-sdhc.com(with a dash between r4i and sdhc as opposed to the other site that had no dash), and that only got me up to the boot screen with a red message saying it's a fake card.
What else can I put on this thing? Btw I'm using this in a DS Lite so I don't need any kernel updates.
