R4 Gold Pro "? MENU" error

Hello,
I just received my R4 Gold Pro that I ordered. No matter what device I put it into, what the date is set to, or what files I used, it always, ALWAYS gives me a white screen with red text: ? MENU in a small rectangle. What do I do about this?
The cartridge is dated "2021" and refers to "www.r4isdhc.com". When inserted, it appears as "Touch! Bomberman Land".

I did think of that as an option, but this is not an R4i card.
I did delete everything that was on it beforehand.

Oh. I should have guessed that.
Regardless, the firmware you sent me didn't work. I used it in my o2DS with the date set to 6/22/00.

Otherwise, it may be a problem with the micro SD: use Panasonic formatter and format it fat32 with 32kb cluster.

fyi recent versions aren't called "Panasonic" anymore, it's now just "SD Formatter". I always link the dsi.cfw.guide SD Card Setup page for flashcards as the instructions there are just as good for flashcards.

After using the Panasonic formatter, it works perfectly! (At least, as perfectly as it can get.) Thanks a million!
Also, yes, I do have the same card as the one pictured, only its labeled 2021 and not 2020.

If I' not too late, here is unified YSMenu wrapper for all TopToy DS/DSTT cards (that shows "menu?" like yours)
It loads before original firmware so you don't have to worry about timebomb (swapping date/time)
Just extract to micro sd root

After half a day struggling and raging to update the flashcart, this fixed it all in 3 minutes

If you mean in the original firmware of my card, yes there was. By using YSMenu, the problem is solved, since this software does not have a limited lifespan. Be aware however, that using this software, with some titles you will have freezing problems (Lufia, Inazuma Eleven series, Ni No Kuni, Kingdom Hearts etc.).

If it is identical to mine, then this kernel should work: you copy to the micro SD only files and folders contained in the root folder, not this one. If it doesn't work it may be a problem regarding formatting the SD: in this case read more above. Or again a pin contact issue.

This + SD formatter linked in a previous post fixed it for me on my Mac, thanks!
I also always run a "dot_clean -m --keep=native" on the SD card for good measure.
