Hacking R4i 3DS problem

Hey guys,

I'm having trouble with my R4i cartridge.

I know it's a V1.4.X version, so when i insert it onto my 3DS XL it doesn't load. I read something about updating the cartridge on a regular DSlite, and i tried downloading updates etc but when i even insert the cartridge into my ds lite, it just asks for a menu.

Any help?

You need to get the specific software from the exact site printed on your cart, and make sure you're downloading the one for your specific model.

Well the site says not to update my 3ds untill a patch comes out for the r4i unit, i was just hoping there was another way around it :/

Nope, you need to wait for them to update it. Generally if they don't update within a week or so they're not going to update at all, but they don't admit ti because then people would stop buying.
