On my home menu the R4 displays touch! Bomberman Nintendo

So I was wondering if there is a way to change it, I couldn't find much on google so please tell me!

Thanks in adance

Oh ok, well could you please tell me the controls and customisable things in the r4 since I'm a noob and can you go online
I don't know about the controls. What do you mean by "go online"? The DS Wi-Fi was shut down in 2014, so no. Unless there's some way (like Wiimfi exists for the Wii), you can't.

Getting an R4i Gold in the mail soon, wanted to ask about wood firmware. That's still the best thing to use for it, right? Is the latest version really from 2013? Any forks from a later time?

If it's the R4i Gold 3DS RTS, look for Wood v1.64. That's what I'm currently using. I don't know of any forks.

I've always wondered if there's a way to edit the pictures using something like Resource Hacker, a hex editor, or figure out how to decrypt/re-encrypt the firmware so we could edit the picture, which is most-likely a 16 color bitmap image. But no matter what archive tools I try, I get garbled data which tells me it's likely encrypted, or compiled in a weird and secured way.

I think it's possible to use ndstool's banner generating function. Though any modification like that has a risk of bricking which is exactly how my Ace3DS+ met its demise. Also there's no actual clarification as to whether that works.
