YES!!

I made these, they turned out to be pretty neat. I think the boarder lines might be messed up but its not too noticeable.

This one might not look like much but actually does look good on the ds screen.

This one makes your screen look rounded. If you are using any other color DS than black you should probably change the colors around.

That one and the simple Gameboy one are really great! Biggest problem I have with them though is that I have a SCminiSD with over 200 GBA games on it and the frame doesn't work that way on the R4. It only works with REAL GBA carts.

It is true that it must be set to bitmap, but you forgot to mention that it MUST be in 24bit color. I just thought I'd mention that.

EDIT: Just checked out the GBAtemp frame with one of my actual GBA games. The bottom of the frame appears to be one line off. I see a thin black line between the frame and the game. Not really a big deal, but it's there.

Personally I think it would be rather cool to combine this border functionality with the Super Gameboy border support in Goomba Color to get a more complete SGB border while still allowing for GBC colors in supported games. I know Lameboy has SGB support, but in dual-mode games you must sacrifice the GBC colors to get them.

For instance, combine this border with the Azure Dreams game being emulated in Goomba Color to get just that little bit of extra border space (slightly modified to show more of the monster's heads):

The output on the screen should look like this in the end:

And for reference, what the full border actually looks like on a real SGB or when emulated with VBA (note that on a real SGB you'd only have 4 shades of red for the main screen colors):

However, since I've never had a device that supported the frame thing, I've never been able to test it out.

I just noticed that when I checked it out this morning. I fixed some other areas too.

Here's a link to the original bmp because imageshack seems to automatically convert it:

Excellent! Thanks! I now have the GBAframe I will use from now on.

Thought I'd knock up something a bit more retro than the other frames around here..

The green part is completely covered when the frame is used with a GBA game, but I thought I would draw it on there anyway

This is how it will look when you're using it

you will need to save the first image as a bmp to use this gbaframe
