Was it working correctly previously?

I'd agree with the others. Simply clear your SD card (copying over the games and save files) and simply reinstall all of the most recent software.

If your stuck just follow the instructions on the CD.

This is the biggest problem with "R4" these days. There are so many clones it can be difficult to determine if the one you have is a clone or not.

Most likely, you either didn't put ALL the necessary files on the card, or you are trying to use the official firmware on a clone, which won't work.

Do you still have the box the R4 came in? What URL did it say to go to for firmware on the box? Can you take a pic of the front of the box and let us see it? We may be able to determine what firmware you actually need to use to get it to work for you.

Well download R4 version 1.18 and stick it onto your SD card

It should have the following folders:

'_system_'
''moonshl'

and 2 files:

_DS_MENU
_DS_MOONSHL.NDS

Hope that helps. You do know that the card won't work unless you install the software right? Also it should have had a CD in the package.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
