Hacking R4 DS skins

This is a gaara skin i put together. I got pictures from narutocentral and I hope i am not stealing.

Yeah, my very first attempt. I stole the icons.bmp from another Tsubasa Reservoir skin and made this one more calming. I don't have an R4 yet so I haven't tested it, nor do I have a theme.ini made. Just save the images and rename them (make sure to save them as 24bit bmps).. If you update it/fix whatever I screwed up please post the updated copy! Enjoy

Hey marth989 i don't think the resolution of your skin is high enough, and also the contrast, and border.

And here it is after a little wait i have edited Xeoset into, hopefully its final stage,

i have followed advice buy takaM and created more relevant icons and

a better .ini theme that allows you to see what file is being selected,

also i have removed the icons behind the brightness and soft rest and made underlays

for them.

In the latest version of R4 Commander I've put in the ability to download skins as updates. It's pretty preliminary at the moment. You would have to send me the skin and I'd add it to the updates list. It won't preview it but it can display notes on the skin.

If you've got some skins that you want me to add for you then send me a PM.

wait a second changing the resolution does not affect the r4 ds skins because their size is bases on pixels not cm or inch, changing resolution is an increase or decrease in pixels per inch or cm, and because r4 ds skins are sized base on pixels, increasing the resolution would make no difference, if you have a 100x100 pixel square at 72 res or at 300 res its still going to only be 100 pixel by 100 pixel, so if your just referring to the icons and logo that look slightly blurry thats because they are, i put a blur on them to remove jaggies and make the skins flow better, this comment is directed at Bobrules with only good intention,

so enjoy both Xeoset and Gear

thanks, if you want i can make you personally a skin that has an envelope icon in the center, but if your happy with the M for messenger then its ok

I understand what you saying dude but unless i added a slight blur affect

it would have had jagged edges because of its small size. their ain't anything i can do

i would need to be a pixel artist or something, if i made this on a large scale though this

would not happen, but if i did and then shrunk it down it would have jagged ages theirs no way around it

i hope you can enjoy it even if its only for a little
