yeah, it's awesome!

however, when combining codelists, I do have to use the official one cause yours can't do it (I think). Other than that, though, it's great!

oh, and for converting codebreaker codes to AR codes, use some kind of AR tool. I'm sure there's one for it. just go to kodewerx.net/forum and look around; you should be able to find one.

Sorry for being noobish, but how do we find cheats? Are we able to input Action Replay cheats here - ideas?

there are completely different forums devoted to AR. nintendohack.c.la and kodewerx.net to name a couple. I like nintendohack. using that, and gbatemp, I can find pretty much whatever I need about anything R4/AR related.

we could start an AR section here, but I doubt it would do very well. it takes quite a bit to get a forum for AR going.

it encrypts the usrcheat.dat into a cheat.dat

so if it saves usercheat.dat into a cheat.dat file meaning i can delete cheat.dat on my micro sd card? because i tried some codes last night with this new program and i saved it to usercheat.dat like i useally do i already have a blank cheat.dat i don't think i really need to delete the cheat.dat if i have a blank one.

Oh yeah, the function I use sometimes. You can do it too - Just Save as your #1 Cheat DB as an XML, then open your #2 (to which you want to combine) and select File: Import XML!

Noo!! (Oh...)

The CHEAT.DAT is encrypted therefore it can't be edited by the official Code Editor. Just the usrcheat.dat. Now you can OPEN and EDIT the CHEAT.DAT with this program too, so if you select the Encrypt and save as CHEAT.DAT, you no longer need the usrcheat.dat because all your codes in the CHEAT.DAT. Hopefully you get it for now.

That's useful when you have some custom codes (got from custom Code sites), and we get the newest, latest codes from CodeJunkies for example.

(That's in the CHEAT.DAT, yours is in the usrcheat.dat - That's the whole purpose of that, too!

It looks fine on mine. Can you take a screenshot?

Oh and it's "chuck" not "chunk"Â

I thought of screenshots aswell too, so sure, there them are:

You know, it doesn't look anything like that for me. This is the nastiness I get:
BadFont.jpg

I tried all the versions in this thread. This ugly font makes the editor kinda of hard to use for me. As it is, I only use it to alphabetize the list for the normal editor 1.01 from R4's site. What's the deal with that? Nothing else I use has that terrible font.......

Any ideas?

the font in that quote looks like that on mine

So....EXACTLY which file is giving the nice font instead that nasty one?

Rayder, try setting your Window appearance to Windows Classic or just basic XP. I think it's some custom theme font giving troubles.

Like I said though, this is the ONLY program I've ran across that has that nasty font like that.

I have 6 versions of MS Sans Serif in my fonts folder out of a total of 357 installed fonts.

So I ask again, WHICH version of this editor do I download that won't look nasty? In this thread, I have seen five downloads, one of which was a Japanese file. As far as i know, I have tried them all and they ALL look like that.

WinXP Pro (Media Center 2005)
AMD Athlon 64 3400
2gigs of RAM
fully updated

Looking through the fonts list, it appears to be using the Krystoid (True Type) font, which, if you look at my pic above, is quite nasty.

It looks exactly the same on the laptop we have here and that computer doesn't have any special fonts installed.

Tested on my bedroom PC.....hmmm.....actually looks normal. What's that all about?

Figured it out.......I had to delete the Krystoid font altogether. Now it looks like those other pics. Weird.

I'll most likely never miss that font anyway. It was installed as a font pak for Visual Pinball (if you don't know what that is and like pinball, Google Visual Pinball for more info)
