Hacking r4 cheats not working at all...

I don't know why but there is NO option to cheat for any games on my friends r4... Im using the USRCHEAT.dat file on your cheat section and it isn't giving the option to push y to cheat...I also tried original cheat.dat file that came with r4 kernal and it also doesn't give option to cheat...I tried renaming USRCHEAT.DAT to usrcheat.dat and cheat.dat and it still didn't work..does this mean his r4 is corrupt or something...dragon quest 5 i am sure has cheats on it but again it doesn't give option to cheat on it either...

also i used same cheat file on my r4 and it worked perfectly

Dragon Quest should show up even with the R4 cheat problem. My guess is that your friend patched his DQ ROM to disable the piracy check thereby changing the game ID.

im so sorry it turned out his system folder wasnt at root of card lol just ignore or close this topic
