Hacking Quick question on updating to 4.0

as i said i'm not asking for a guide but i was wondering if i install a trucha signed IOS60 and thne update via Nintendo will i be able to keep all the hacks i have and also be able to install unofficial wads/vs into SD Card Channel or do i need to use Waninkokos firmware updater for that. I dont trust Waninkokos one last time i used his i bricked my Wii and i'm 99% sure it wasn't from his isntaller but theres still that 1% making me doubt his isntaller. also i already have HBC installed and cIOS rev 10.

please someone reply i want to go to 4.0 but wont do it just yet if Waninkokos updater is the only way to do so atm. i've seen one tutorial where it says this is alrite (by yafaze) but since its only one i'm kinda wary on doing it, but it does make sense to me. i just want confirmation before doing anything.

i used Wanin's updater 6 times now and it works fine

i think if you installed a Trucha 60 and then updated then the update would overwrite it anyway.

with ciosrev8 or higher, HBC installed, updating to 4.0 through Nintendo will do the trick just fine.

actualy....sorry to dissapoint but i chickend out last minute lol. i've only had my new wii for like a week and a bit i'm still to scared to risk it. i think i'm just gonna wait for bootmii to release and upgrade then.
