Hacking Quick Poll: What firmware are you on and will you update?

I'm on 4.2. There's nothing newer to update to. If a new update does surface, I'll only update if it's safe and if it adds some new feature, or is required to play newer games.

I'm on 4.0. There's no reason to update to 4.1 or 4.2 really (since even though I play WSR, I don't play any games off my SD card so I won't get that instruction video glitch).

currently (one of) the best firmware(s) to have

only disadvantage: You have to update some stuff manually (IOS, Shop channel,...)
advantage 4.2: no boot2v4

I'm on 3.2E and basically just too lazy to update.
I don't miss anything, so I don't see why I would update.

still at 4.1...system menu version doesn't really matter that much to me as long as my wii plays the games i want to play.

I'm on 4.1 . I still hope ninty will bring new features with upcoming updates. They only try to stop homebrew...kinda useless.

Im currently on 3.2u and i was wondering if i should update... If i was to update which way is the best way to do so. I heard pimp my wii was good? Can you guys recommend me a safe updater?

Yes, best guide in my opinion. Not to mention, that its a fully offline mod that doesn't require wifi

softmodded my 4.1 hardmodded wii (aka simplistic mod) and now on 4.2. installed WD 320 usb drive 2 days ago and everything works great so far with config usb loader. Stayed with Rev 14 for now.

So yes, if needed, and safe, I would update again.
