So I'm about to install B9S. (Yes, keep your speech to yourself. I know I'm incredibly late. >3>) I've gone onto my emuNAND and backed up all my saves. Not going to bother importing my emuNAND to my sysNAND since I could just reinstall my games and it will save me the hassle.

So I have a few questions before I go ahead. Should I place my saves on my PC and and format my SD? Or would it be fine to leave it as it is? I'm not bothered with the emuNAND remaining on my SD since I will hardly notice it due to my SD storage being big.

How would I remove the ancient relic known as Menuhax?

If I instead do decide to import my emuNAND, how would I do that? I don't see a word about it on the 3DS Guide which I do remember seeing quite sometime ago.

Follow the 3DS guide then just do this part last https://3ds.guide/move-em

There's no reason to format the SD

just a note, moving emunand to sysnand would be way faster than re-installing games, especially if you have a lot of them. it's easy and actually less hassle than the latter. you can format SD later if you don't want to do that right away.

when you follow the guide, you'll come to a point that tells you to move emunand, so you should do that.

So how would I remove Menuhax?

Yeah, updating to B9S makes EmuNAND completely obselete. Just import your EmuNAND over to SysNAND when the guide says so, and there should be no problems.

I can't believe that I used Menuhax and RxTools as long as I did on my O3DS. It was a few months before I made the switch to A9LH. When B9S came out, I didn't hesitate. The only thing stopping me was the lack of a computer. Once I got access to a computer, I gave my O3DS and N3DS the B9S Treatment.

So, don't let doubt stop you. If you can use Menuhax, then B9S will be a breeze in comparison.

EDIT: I would go and look, but my 3DS can't access the Guide, nor can my PS3. Which sucks, because I used that guide to switch from Menuhax to A9LH some time ago.

if you have menuhax on your sysnand and you overwrite sys with emunand, menuhax wouldn't be used anymore.

unless you mean doing this before installing b9s, in which you'd use menuhax_manager. but you shouldn't do that.

Figured it out. Just changing the theme on sysNAND removes it. lol

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
