Homebrew Question- Will nds to cia ever be a thing?

So I was wondering if there would ever be something to convert a .nds ROM to a cia to install. I man Original DS games, not just DSIware.

Injecting NDS files into CIA will never be possible. The closest we've ever gotten to NDS games as DSiWare is Nintendo's digital release of WarioWare Touched via My Nintendo.
Even if it were possible, the NAND memory is not large enough to hold most NDS games.
As others have pointed out, it is possible to achieve a similar effect to injects with nds-bootstrap and NDS forwarders.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
