Hey guys,

I recently.. acquired a newly released game and I've easily done my fair share of seeding.
I've kept the torrent inactive in my uTorrent browser, and my friend wants to download it as well.

If I seed, is there a way to ONLY seed to him and not to anyone else without having to make my another (private) torrent?
That way, he downloads from other people and exclusively from me.

Thanks in advance!

If its archived in little files of 50mb or such you could try sending it over IM like Live Messenger or similar, but dont expect blazing speeds.
Another option if you got fast upload speeds with your ISP would be to set up a FTP server with password protection.
(Im not an expert in how to set up a server but i bet you could find guides for it.)

I send movies and ISO files to my friend from high school and college next town over.
Cable cat5 to cable cat5 in AIM we get around 250-300 kbps not that good or bad.

That's terrible. (cable to cable makes it sound like you're both in the same room, if not nvm this) Both of you set a directory to be sharable (right click, properties, share), then copy and paste the file over in Windows Explorer, you'll get 10 megabytes/s. Still not fast enough when you're transferring a 50GB Steam folder over, though.

NOT LIMEWIRE!!! Seriously, avoid.

1. Unsafe software
2. Currently under observation

A simple and cheap way - use IRC, start a chat with your friend and send via that...

and also, LIMEWIRE = freaking lots of virus,

jecus, even just finding an audio, i was able to get all sort of malware/adware/virus/porn, u name it, its probably it.

Just avoid LIMEWIRE unless of cos, u are just sending it to your friend, if that's the case, then its okay.
